Reservation FAQ's

What time is check-in and check-out?
Like the majority of Rehoboth Beach hotels, the Atlantis Inn offers check-in anytime after 3:00pm and check-out at 11:00am.

What happens if I arrive earlier to check in?
In some cases, depending on the previous night's occupancy, an early check-in may be available. It is best to contact the hotel to inquire before assuming an early check-in will be possible. The Atlantis Inn does offer a changing facility so you can enjoy the pool or beach in the meantime.

Are late check-outs available?
Depending on the season and room-type availability, a late check-out may be available upon prior approval by the hotel's Front Desk. Please contact the Front Desk to inquire about a later check-out and whether or not any fees would apply.

Are smoking rooms available?
The Atlantis Inn only provides smoke-free guest accommodations and facilities. However, the hotel has designated a smoking area outside the hotel lobby where guests are permitted to smoke. Since the Atlantis Inn offers exterior corridors, guests are also permitted to smoke right outside their guest room.

What methods of payment are acceptable at the hotels?
The Atlantis Inn accepts major Credit Cards, Cash and Traveler's Checks. No personal or international checks are accepted unless received as a deposit no later than 30 days prior to arrival.

I have a group coming to the area, are we eligible for a group rate?
In many instances, depending on the season and availability of rooms, groups are eligible for a discount on their room rate. Typically, a group of rooms would consist of 10 or more per night. Please contact our Front Desk directly if you are interested in obtaining more information for a group block.

Cancellation Policy FAQ's

What is the hotel's cancellation policy?
All reservations require 7-days advance notice of cancellation to avoid a penalty of the first night's room and tax. Reservations cancelled in excess of 7-days prior will be charged $25.00 and refunded the remaining deposit amount. If you have any questions, please e-mail us or call 1-800-245-2112 for additional assistance or help with making your reservations.


Where do I park my car?
The Atlantis Inn provides one complimentary off-street parking space for each guest room. If you have additional vehicles, please contact the Front Desk for alternative locations where you may park for little to no cost.

The Atlantis Inn parking lot is for employees and registered guests ONLY. All vehicles in the parking lot MUST have a current parking permit in plain sight. Any such unauthorized vehicles WILL be towed at owner’s expense. The hotel is NOT responsible for any vehicle towed without a parking permit.


Am I permitted to bring my pet to the hotel?
The Atlantis Inn permits dogs in the off-season only for a fee of $30.00 per night per dog, max 2 dogs. Off-season at the Atlantis Inn is considered up to May 15th and then again after Labor Day weekend. Dogs are not permitted in suites and efficiency rooms. Other pets, such as cats, birds, reptiles, etc. are not permitted on property. Please review our Pet Policies page for details regarding the rules and responsibilities for pet owners.


Does the hotel participate in any green initiatives?
The Atlantis Inn is a pioneer amongst Rehoboth Beach hotels with its efforts to lessen the impact the hospitality industry makes on the local environment. Please visit our Green Hotel Program page for a detailed listing of the steps we're taking to make a difference in our community.

Are meeting room facilities available at the hotel?
The Atlantis Inn does not offer meeting rooms but would be happy to help arrange meeting or conference space for you at a nearby location. Please inquire with the Front Desk on what alternatives may be available.

Does the hotel offer high speed Internet access?
The Atlantis Inn offers guests complimentary wireless Internet access and it is available throughout the property.

Does the Atlantis Inn offer a swimming pool?
The Atlantis Inn features a swimming pool and large sundeck on the 3rd floor of the hotel. The pool hours are 9am-9pm. The sundeck is a popular hang-out featuring chaise lounges and dining tables with umbrellas overlooking Rehoboth Avenue.

Are vending machines available on property?
The Atlantis offers vending areas on the 1st and 3rd floors of the main building, and in the parking area of the Efficiency building. Vending areas may include soda/water, snacks and ice.

Where can I do laundry while staying at the hotel?
The Atlantis Inn features a 24-hour Coin-Operated Guest Laundry, featuring two washers and two dryers.
